Admittedly, the opponents were not the most difficult. If you want to look critically, you will of course see that they have conceded a goal in each of the last matches. So nine goals were scored, with six goals in the first half. Manchester's three previous home games against Brentford were very close, with scores of 2-0, 1-2 and 1-0. Brentford hasn't had a bad start to the new season, winning twice and losing once. They lost 0-2 in Liverpool, and the schedule isn't good for away games. After the trip to the Reds and the Skyblues, Tottenham and Manchester United are the next opponents. The two wins againat Crystal Palace and Southampton should provide a tailwind. The Bees were involved in some turbulent matches last season and have always conceded goals in their three games so far and scored five of their own.
